BEMO Project Engineering were tasked with the design and manufacture of the freeform standing seam roof system to the new passenger terminal at Zagreb International Airport. Spread over a floor area of 65,000m², the new terminal is being built at a cost of 331 million Euros.
The challenging geometry of the roof design required detailed 3D modelling and rendering by BEMO’s in-house technical team. Utilising the patented BEMO-MONRO standing seam system, and associated BEMO-Dome support structure, BEMO were able to overcome the complicated forms ensuring that the end result was in keeping with the architect’s surface design.
